Our friends have a Barcelona and they can't sing its praises enough.
We have been seriously looking at getting one of the Unicorns possibly the Almeria or Valencia - just weighing up the pros and cons of each.
The only one thing I heard off them was the new electrics - he would have to have his car electrics done but we found him an adaptor that uses your current plugs and converts to the new 13 pin one.

We have a Barcelona and absolutely love it, have had teething problems of a leaking window but soon sorted under warranty. We fancied the Valencia too, but opted for the exxtra space in the Barcelona - no regrets!

Happiness is not having what you want
BUT
wanting what you have.
Had a Barcelona for almost a year now. Really like it, been caravanning for nearly 27 years and reckon this is the best van we have had.
We have had some problems with small holes in the window blinds which are due to be replaced at the annual service next month under warranty. This is a problem not unique to the Barcelona or indeed to Bailey.
As with any caravan it's a bit of a compromise,e.g.if you wanted more room in the shower and toilet area then you need to accept less room in the living area. But for us it's an excellent van.
Any specific questions please ask.
I'm almost certain we would love this van. The main reasons we don't have one is all to do with money!! Our present van has a similar layout but with the smaller single axle body, and we are really happy with the Sancerre. Not only would the upgrade to a double axle be expensive, but it would restrict our choice of towcar. At the moment we have a Disco, but it may not last forever. If we have to go to a smaller towcar at any stage, we would probably be able to find something more economical and still within the 85% towing ratio recommendation. That would not really be a possibility with the Barcelona. It's doubtful if you could tow it with anything less than a 4x4.
We have a Barcelona. It is superb. Bailey have got their act together build quality wise. The only problem we have had has been defective struts on the rooflights but they were very quickly sorted and of course part of the Henkel assembly.
The plus points...........everything else.
We had the Pageant Limousin previously and this is the same layout though it would seem minor faults that niggled folk on that such as lights have been sorted.
