Looks like it's going to be a lovely weekend, we are only travelling 30mins so should be legs down by 4pm on Friday.....oooh can't wait!

Yes, all have a lovely weekend, I'm stuck at home this week, so I will be out in the garden!

Yes typical, we are off abroad for the first time in ages (without the van).

Seems we chose the wrong weekends this year in the van it was always the one where we were at home which was the sunniest.
Never mind must do better next year lol.

We saw the weather for the weekend and booked it last saturday,one good thing about having a caravan, if u know we are going to have sunshine u can book a campsite, only going to Charity Farm at wrightington, but we could be mile's away xx Gill

We are going to the Horse and Jockey at Churchstoke, nice little site, beautiful countryside, and of course the pub that serves great food and drink. Last weekend this year I think, shame.

I wonder if I'm the only one on here who prefers the weather not to be sunny?

My wife and I find anything above about 20 degrees C to be uncomfortable, certainly for the sort of things we like to do on holiday.

We're going away this week and the forecast of 26C is not welcomed at all!

We tend to do most of our caravanning in autumn, winter and spring and avoid the summer heat.
