Tuning it at home won't help.  You need to retune every time you change site.

Check that your aerial is pointing the same way as everybody else's, then retune.

true but the idea was to decide whether there was a problem on the TV side or the Aerial side, and tuning in at home on a known good signal would sort that problem out.

Sorry Bill, I take your point.  At least you would know the TV was OK.  It's just that I have helped quite a few people, mainly on CLs, who didn't realise they had to retune when they moved, and came into our caravan.  They were surprised we had a picture, and said they had no TV at all.

Hi flip53, as the above posts assuming you have digital box or free view built in, my small 8 inch caravan TV had not been tuned for almost a year, and after first retune only a handful of channels, 3^rd time over 100, just make sure your aerial is pointing in same direction as the other van aerials.
