Hi,
I noticed on ebay that these are being sold with a suggested use for caravans. We have just purchased an Olympus which has quite deep front storage lockers - haven't been to van to check the fit yet though. We will only use with a hook up so don't need 12v. Just wanted to see if anyone had one or had any opnioins.

I wouldn't bother

a/ you have to have somewhere suitable to mount it onto, and in most vans this would possibly require further support behind the mounting point.

b/ can be expensive, especially when Tesco sell a 19'' HD ready with DVD player for £100 !

c/ more weight to carry around in the caravan and another reason for someone to see something nickable !
