Coachman Caravans are to showcase their revolutionary 2012 range at The Motorhome & Caravan Show in October 2011.
The multi award-winning Amara has been significantly improved, lightened and strengthened for the new year, and every other range has been completely transformed.
With a sleek, modern shape, innovative materials that make their caravans lighter and stronger than ever before, and dozens of ergonomic new features, every aspect of the Pastiche, VIP and Laser ranges have been revolutionised for 2012. |
Amara
The main Amara changes for 2012 are about weight. Models are between 35kg and 65kg lighter than 2011 models; lighter weight materials have been used in construction.
Amaras now have dual fuel hobs, new fabrics and a new Truma Ultrastore water heater with a double element which is designed to heat the water quicker.
With eight flexible layouts to choose from ranging from two to six berth configurations, there's sure to be an Amara to suit every family and budget.
Pastiche, VIP and LaserThe 2012 range sees new body shapes in the Pastiche, VIP and Laser ranges introduce grey roof rails that link raised shoulder lines front and rear. Graphics are bold, in shades of grey with bright green on Lasers and VIPS, and bright blue on Pastiches; Wheel arches and skirts are dark grey… Coachman, until now largely regarded as traditional in exterior styling, have suddenly become bolder and brighter than most in lines and graphics.
Lasers now have Alde heating and under-slung water tanks. Both Lasers and VIPs have the ATC stability control system.
Lasers, VIPs and Pastiches all have sunroofs running the full width of the caravans.
Pastiches and VIPs have Truma Combi-Boiler space and water heating systems with a new programmable controller that’s exclusive to Coachman. The unit is under a settee, which removes the imposition of a heater on layout – and that means more storage space. That advantage is in the kitchens, which now have big double-door cupboards.
