Hi hope someone can help, have searched whole site with no luck, my new to me 2002 van has a C200 swivel thetford toilet, I have cleaned it all out and replaced the carpet with vinyl floor, I then filled the flush tank and flushed it through into waste tank, then I noticed a trickle of water seeping from the base of the toilet beteen the base and the floor. I don't think I would have noticed it if the carpet was still down. I thought it might be the lip seal but this holds when the waste tank is tipped up and the outside of the waste tank is dry, could it be the seal between bowl of toilet and tank or something to do with the flush? The pressure of the flush is fine. Any ideas much appreciated thanks!
Thanks michael, I have taken the pump handle out and it looks ok but on closer inspection there is a thin rim of soft wall right around the flush tank, is there anyway the flush tank can seep into the wall and does any one have any ideas what I can do?
the only two things i can think of now is,the outside filler is not connected correctly.or the flush tank has split/cracked due to frost and seeping into the wall.only removal can find this.
------------- the only silly question is the one you do not ask.
Looks like I have got a busy day tomorrow! Nothings ever easy is it,I've no idea how to get the flush tank off but will give it a go and see what's happening before it gets worse!
