Yep me too. Once I'm up to speed then on goes the CC. It stops over speeding and keeps you at a constant speed allowing you to concentrate on the road.
Use it whenever conditions allow. We go to Cornwall every May, 320 miles. And it really makes the trip easier, this year I switched it on 60mph at Shrewsbury and didnt touch it again till we got off the M5 at Exeter. All overnight driving obviously.
I love it on the motorway and dual carriagways, but prefer not to use on single carriageways.

For a licence dated 1997 or later you must add together the plated max weight of the caravan and trailer, if the total is 3500 or less you can tow it. You may even tow a caravan with a MAM greater than the cars unladen mass the restriction was removed in 2013
I use it when solo and towing depending on traffic. As said above overnight m/way journey`s to Dorset, Devon and Cornwall really helpfull. Can be uneconomical if not used correctly, I find I get better mpg when used, also very handy for 50mph zones with camera`s.
