Our storage site has two sets of electric gates operated by a unique swipe card. You can't open the second gate until the first has closed behind you. The same applies when leaving.
On top of that there are a further two heavy padlocked gates in operation at the weekend. These are quite daunting to open and the owner insists that these are closed behind you on arrival and departure.
Not an easy place to get your own caravan out of, let alone nick one!
Where we store our caravan, were not allowed on site unless with the owner, they pull out and put back each caravan every visit, and if you want to check your van, they will escort you. Our site has a permanent beam, as well as gates and if anyone walks across the beam, which you can't see by the way, it sends a message to the owners mobile.
