That reminds me, I must call the CC. We have their Gold Storage discount, alarm discount etc., but our van has to go back to our main dealer for some warranty repairs next month - which will take a couple of weeks.
I think we are only supposed to have the van out of the Gold Storage for up to 72 hours (unless we are staying in it of course!) during which time the alarm is supposed to be set at all times, so I will have to question them about cover whilst it is at the dealers. Presumably, the dealers own insurance would cover most eventualities, but I am still going to check with CC for their advice.
