When I filled in the Caravan clubs latest members panel survey today the last question was (and it did say it was a funny question but apparently common in such things)...
If the caravan club grew arms and legs and was a person who would it be?
It can be anyone living or dead.
Just interested who you would choose? you don't have to neccessarily like the person.
This was mine.............
Ann Widdicombe...
strong morals and values.
Reliable and trusting.
Appears a little old fasioned on the surface but up for a laugh when the occasion arises.
Knows when to draw the line.
Will not be intimidated.

I thought a "Zombie" was more appropriate and used it for my answer.
The survey was about communication, but no survey on email and letters sent to CC????
The CC do not listen to member's complaints. They do not act on a complaint. They don't reply to emails most times. They don't reply to letters most times. When they do reply to a complaint, an email or letter, it is so neutral, patronising and wishy washy that you almost want to be sick.
We are members because of their CL network as you cannot get on a popular CC sites for a break of 10 days as invariably the weekends are booked full. Every year site fees go up making it more difficult to afford a holiday on a CC site. We now find it cheaper to use a commercial site which may have equal or better facilities than a CC site.
Watch this forum on the 7th or when booking for next year opens.
Although the CC is reliable and trustworthy, it strikes me as rather conservative (with a small C), a bit behind the times, and with a touch of the Little Englander about it. So it would have to be Captain Mainwaring from Dad's Army.
