Hi Helen - I have a teeny van as well, luckily the Movelite drive away awning I have and which I bought for a demountable romahome also fits this one too! Have a look at the Movelite range on their site... and my gallery photos! It has a tunnel you see, which makes it independent of the caravan (even though you can use the rail, it has a rail slider thingy) so it will fit ok. The movelite square is lovely, better than my older one as it has larger windows and looks much more like an awning!

Thanks for that Jax - I did consider the Movelite square but I wasn't too sure how it would attach to the van!
Do you thread it into the awning rail first then put the poles in or erect it and then try and attach it to the van? Is it possible for 1 person to put the Movelite up? Any help would be appreciated!
What about this, its our old porch awning that came with the caravan, nothing wrong with it at all other than it was far too small for us and our stuff.
Page 22 of the 'old crappy' thread is where we have the picture.
Would be prepared to sell to you as long as you paid the postage.
You can see it's fairly short from the pegging of the skirts and our van, so I've been told is too short for the modern nylon awnings!

Many thanks for the offer freckles63, but I have a very similar one already which came with the van. That one is too small which is why I am trying to track down a full awning.
Ground to ground is just 660cm with a rail height of 220cm.
Think the rail height doesn't matter it is the ground to ground through the awning rail that is the important one. All awnings have an allowance 650-700, 700-750 and so on so there is scope to adjust.

There was a piece on the caravan channel last week where they visited a specialst firm that make and adjust awnings to order, cant remember the name though, did anyone else see it?

I thread it into the awning rail first, using the caravan step as I'm a bit on the short side! then slide the poles into the two sides, they form a cross in the middle on the outside, all fix together, so there are only two poles really. Then you put the corners into the pins on the awning, and up it all goes!
I can put mine up by myself, wee 5ft girly here - although it's easier if someone helps putting the corner pins in.
The bit I hate is pegging it all down, but you have that with all awnings!
If you keep on looking on ebay for an isabella combi 680 which will do your job just perfectly.

For a licence dated 1997 or later you must add together the plated max weight of the caravan and trailer, if the total is 3500 or less you can tow it. You may even tow a caravan with a MAM greater than the cars unladen mass the restriction was removed in 2013
It was CIT camping in Walton on Thames. They have a web site. They seem to do all sorts of things and will make an awning to measure.
The Caravan Channel repeats so it should still be available,They too have a website and some of their programmes can be watched online. Sad I know, but we don't get away very often.
