Even this guy couln't get to our pitch !!!  

  We went to Long Meadow in the New Forest last year and pitched on the perimiter of the field where hook ups were. When I looked for water point nearest our pitch it was on someone elses pitch at the back of there caravan. I walked further afield and found one on it's own in the open but a lot of people were walking in between the couple sitting out and filling up the water butts, I could'nt beleive someone putting a tap there. Did feel sorry for the couple on that pitch. Maybe someone can tell me it's changed now !

Drives me insane too. I've even had people move my windbreak to one side to get through my pitch. Bainlands at Woodhall Spa.

oh tripping over the step is just too close I agree.  Someone should invent mini camping landmines.  Not to do physical damage of course, just to go off like party poppers when they were tramped on.  Of course nobody would get any sleep then but you'd have good fun lying awake listening to the screams

Are there any club regulations to the walking over some ones pitch.? Lets face it if the are no regulations covering this its no use complaining on here contact the clubs direct and get them to add to the rules. I personally hate marking out ones pitch with windbreaks they are so antisocial. Like someone else has said many years ago the pitches were not marked out and people were sociable then. But tripping over a step is a step too far. I believe that windbreaks are banned on a lot of sites when I have asked they indicate that there are lots of complaints about them and the poles can mess up the ground. I have one which is held up by guy ropes and use it just as a windbreak for my gas BBQ. but that gets banned too.

Never been on a site thats banned windbreaks yet,we have quite a collection mainly for beach use but they do get used on site sometimes but most people don't cross our pitch as the dog is normally laid across it.
