Hi Rob. We hardly ever use our back poles on the Kampa Fiesta. I know many do, but Carol is good at pegging tightly up against the van. We manage to get away with it without any problems.

Ours is probably because our old girl the roof does slope, so the rear poles just help, as sometimes can't get it as tight as I would like.

We may have been lucky that we were on a level hardstanding & this weekend was completely still wind wise. Maybe in more testing conditions there could be some bagging.
Our van is quite a tall that may help with tautness too.
