Hi for what is worth I bought 2010 Sprite Alpine 2 that came with a Magic Mover already fitted :-
Plus points, easier to engage with with steadies handle, or 12v battery cordless drill, just wind into the green part of the scale, so far better,than my old model Pwrtouch Model 1 which you have to cam over 120 degrees, with quite a bit of effort..
Minus point, only single speed and quite slow, my Pwrtouch model 1, had the same soft start, but if you kept any button pressed the speed did increase up to a reasonable level
And to date have use my MM quite a bit and very reliable, so i suppose horses for course, if MM make a variable speed one they have a winner
