I'm sure you could get something made in aluminium. Wouldn't be cheap though. We have two planks, about an inch thick, with tapered ends. Only a bit longer than needed, so as light as we can get them. If weight is critical, you could get a holesaw and take a few chunks out of them.
We very rarely use them, although we prefer CLs that aren't always level. It's worth remembering that, as you don't have to be in regimented rows, you can sometimes just swing the caravan to one side, and it will make a big difference to the level.
