When we changed the caravans the dealer arranged for the Tryon bands to be changed as no issue. I think your fitter was probably too lazy to exchange them or couldn't be bothered. Most caravan rims are the same I think.
No i was there when he took the tyre off because i made a point of asking him to put them back on when he gave me a price for the tyres.
Reason i saw him was we were in Truro on holiday and had taken him the loose wheels as the van was on site.
Our friends next to us on site also had a puncture the day before but just put the spare on and did not bother replacing the old one as it had damaged the wheel, they had another on on the way home and had to be rescued of the motorway
