does no one wonder about the pipes underground and how often they are cleaned?  life is taken for granted and never thought about    in t'olden days they just chucked the alum in the pond and bingo  mind you cholera and typhoid did pop up now and again but not because of the water, more to do with their loo habits

None of our vans have had a water filter, I believe it is at least 15 years since Swift stopped fitting them.

We have both Aquaroll and on-board 40 litre tank, clean our whole system twice yearly with Puriclean, and drink from the caravan taps. None of us have ever had any problems from doing so.

Do you drink from taps when usng the onboard Jennifer? We are away for half term next week and suspect we will be using the onboard quite a bit with the sub zero temperatures. If I run some cleaning fluid through the tank I'm sure it will be fine to drink from

if you have it use it ,i had one in our bustner it saved having the canister outside and was easy to fill if there was a tap handy ,i think they are great

Yes we do. As long as the tank is cleaned properly, I don't see a problem.

If staying 2 nights or more on a site, we fill the on-board tank first, then re-fill the Aquaroll, so both are getting frequent use all the time. I think this helps to keep things fresh.

We also frequently shower in the van, so do get through a lot of water!
