we have a coachman 535, does anyone know if the microwave oven supplied can be transported in its overhanging cupboard, or, should it be removed?

I don't know about Coachman but the one in our Swift stays where it is, all we do is put the glass plate in the washing up bowl in the sink.

we remove the glass plate and wedge it between the sofa cushions on our bailey, the microwave itself is actually screwed into it's overhead compartment, I would imagine your coachman is probably the same.

Can't really see why you would to think about moving it to transport it. Where would you put it?
All the Coachmans I have seen have a built in microwave.

Snap...you don't want the door flying open in transit and the plate smashing on the floor. Far as I know all microwaves are fixed into position like all other appliances. Imagine getting on site and finding the cooker in the bathroom; fire in the front lounge; fridge in the bedroom and microwave on the bed. Still, as David said...that's the wifes' job

Ours stay in situ but i have never removed the glass plate. Think i will in future trips, just in case it comes out of the micro and cupboard.
