Do you use the special disintegrating toilet roll or do you just use ordinary? We were thinking of just buying cheapo toilet roll that would be thinner than our usual more luxurious sort but would this bung up the loo? Tia.
People can get brainwashed into thinking that only special loo rolls should be used for cassette toilets but there was a thread on here last year on this very subject and about 95% of people used ordinary toilet paper without any problems. I for one wouldn't pay the extortionate prices they charge and we have never used anything else apart from the toilet paper we use at home.
We use tescos own brand in the van, never had a problem with it.

The road can be tough and rough, but what you put in you get back 10 x more.
A friend of mine did an experiment with toilet rolls (with water, I hasten to add). He used the "proper" ones for cassette toilets versus Tesco value ones. He found that the Tesco ones broke down quicker but the "proper" ones broke down finer.
we use tesco value loo roll in the caravan and its fine. We have however inherited several packets of Thetford loo roll with our new to us van along with about 3 years of chemicals!!
Have you picked up your Olympus yet?
