We have both but only used the porch awning once.We always seem to get vistors when we are away.

We have both, tend to use porch awning when we are only away for a few days (somewhere to feed the dogs and leave the boots) the full awning for longer stays

We have both but have only ever used the full awning on a couple of occasions. The porch awning is more than enough for the two of us (+dog)
