When we were talking to the sales guy he said the only difference is the material - the 390 is 150D weathershield material and the 390 pro is 300D weathershield.  They both are 4000 hydrostatic head.  Weight of the 390 is 21.8 kg and the pro 27.5 kg - both are exactly the same measurements.  

Its is so easy to put up and fits really snug to the van.

We bought ours from Tamworth Leisure.

Think we may go for the pro as we want to use it all year road but sounds like either would probably be ok! I am glad to hear that it is easy to put up as this was one thing we want. Did you get the rear poles and monsoon poles with yours? Just wondered if they are worth it?

The rear upright poles are well worth the money for a nice snug fit, but we never bothered with the monsoon poles and never had a problem. You may like to order a set of storm straps though which fit into the buckles already attached to the frame, some dealers will only supply them at the same time as you buy the awning, and there not found that often for sale in accesory shops.

We  are now in our 3rd season with our Kampa 260, and managed to buy a 390 2010 model for a bargain price at the end of last season, in order to give us a little extra space for when our daughter and her family join us for a few days on site.
