It would help if you were give more details about the type of flush toilet you have there are different kinds and the flush water goes in to the tank in different places depending which type you have.Ian

It goes into a cassette which pulls out via the outside hatch, which then needs to be emptied at the chemical disposal point (CDP) on site. Also need to put a bit of blue chemical in to keep it smelling sweet and breakdown the waste.
Maybe if you included in your profile where you are some kindly soul on here would be able to pop over and run through this and any other queries you may have.

I agree with Phil plus it may help if you also entered into your profile what unit you have as some may just have an identical model. There are different types such as the C4 (bench type) and the C200 (swivel bowl) models but sometimes it depends on the year of manufacture. On the C4 cassette door the flush tank filler swivels out in the same compartment whereas the C200 has a separate filler on the side of the caravan just above the cassette door.
Maybe if we knew what caravan you have? & what year it is (providing the cassette toilet is original equipment).
Is it definitely a Thetford? I only ask as Fiamma used to make a cassette loo as well.
It sounds like you're familiar with chemical caravan toilets anyway, so the emptying won't be much different, but as already stated, there are 3 different types of flush water delivery/storage.
I believe most caravan cassette toilets have a flush tank, but some will be directly fed from the water system. (Think I prefer the tank ones, as you can add a bit of the pink fluid to keep things even sweeter )
There's usually instructions on the inside of the cassette toilet locker door. If not find out the make of the toilet then go onto the makers website and you'll most likely find the instruction manual to download. Thats what I did for my Thetford.
thanks for all the replies, will ad more info asap, will try to find out which model etc. it wasnt originally fitted to my caravan, previous owner added the casette toilet, will try to find out which one it is. thanks again.
