Our Ranger went to the dealer today for its annual service and to have some extras added. I cant wait for Tuesday when we get it back and at long last can start to put our bits and pieces in it. We bought it through Preloved in December and the winter cover went on a week after we bought it. The spare room is piled high with all our stuff.
Is it too early to be thinking of putting all our stuff in or should I just be putting in the crockery, pans etc? We arent having our first trip til Easter but I'm so desperate to make it our own asap!!

You could have a few weekends in it before then!! Use it all year you will love it!! Get your things piled in and a bottle of wine and have a few drinks in it!! Sorting things out and putting things away is half the fun!! Have a good holiday season!!

It was lovely in Gretna, we just came back today. Got to Workington in Cumbria up the road from where we live and were met with rain and fog, wish I had turned round and went back to Gretna in the caravan!! We have to make the most of it so go for it is my advice!

I'd be putting things in ready, we leave ours packed all the time. Then there's just food and clothes to take each trip (that's the theory anyway!).
The notion of "just throw some clean pants and a bottle of milk" in and just set off never seems to work in practice, but I try to get as near to it as I can!

I know the feeling. Our Ranger went last month but we don't pick up the new Provence till the end of this month.......and are then off to test it over the easter weekend! We are both getting a bit stir crazy as the weather has been so mild that if we had the van we might have gone away this weekend. Its been October since we have been away so feeling a bit like we need to escape again......still we have 48 nights booked for this year so once April arrives we are away pretty much every month! Hope the service goes ok, what extras are you having added?
We have just sold our old caravan and the new one doesn't come from the factory till May. I totally share your excitement - I feel the same.
And also, we too have a room full of stuff in the house. I cannot believe that all that was in our previous caravan - hadn't realise it was a Tardis we owned!
I'm getting excited too. February has flown past so hoping march does the same. We're away on the 31st. So jealous of all you people who keep your caravans at home. Trying to organise a weekend to get ours from storage to give it a really good clean. Can't wait, I love getting it all spruced up.
Happy cleaning/packing everyone.
Nicky
If it were me I'd be straight out in it!!! I'd be far too excited to leave it there haha! I know I'll be straight out in my next one (as soon as I find the right one)
spent the afternoon sorting our gear and bagged a lovely Lafuma table on ebay for £20 yesterday. Picked it up today and its been added to the growing pile waiting to go into the van when we get it back from the dealer next week. Been after the table for ages but refused to pay the £60 RRP.
