Hi,
I am after a 6 birth touring caravan with 2 double beds & 2 singles, ie that can be made up, but would like to know if there are any where you don't need to go through the bedroom to get to the toilet.

The Lunar Quasar 556 has a double dinette layout with each end forming a double with a single bunk above if thats the sort of layout you are looking for? The bathroom is in the middle so is accessable from either end. The only thing to be aware of is the weight restrictions on the bunks.......I think these are normally around 11 stone but you would need to check.

Hi, thank you both for your help, I'm beginning to think what I want isnt out there, I have looked quite extensively. I need 6 bedsv2 sets of doubles & then singles for the children but don't want to have to walk through the toilet to get to the bedroom, I also don't ant bunk beds over my bed, fussy aren't I.

I can't recall anything with a layout of two doubles without the addtional 2xsingles been fold down bunks but may be wrong. The other option could be if the singles are for kids what about an awning with an annex and letting them sleep in that? A lot of children seem to prefer this as they get older........if this is for 6 adults then I think you may struggle....but others may have some ideas!

Ace Prestige has option of wrap around /U shaped lounge ( and you can get this extra cushion-set still with older ones.) This means you can get two really decent doubles either end. I am ok with the singles being bunk beds on a dinette but they seem to be over the other beds. I want to have all 3 sleeping bits seperate. I hope I am making sense, thank you for your help.

Hi

 I have the Adria Altea 542DK which has a double (once made up) in front and the rear has 2 bunks and a double can be made up nextr to it if required.

The only time I have found a layout like that is in a large motorhome with an overcab front double and rear over garage double with a set of singles in the lounge area, but you would be looking at a twin rear axel job to carry all the extra weight of 6 people and their luggage.

 I doubt that there is any tourer caravan around on the British market that has three separate bedroom areas, and where you dont have to pass through any of them to get to the toilet.

Thank you for all your help, I used to have a motorhome and they seem to pack in so much more. The dinette that goes into a double was really usefull.

I know my brother had a 5 berth this was a swift challenger. this was two doubles with a bunk above the one.
The room was tight . And not ideal. I prefer the option of maybe an awning with annex. This gives the space for sleeping and living.
A small heater can help if it's a little cold.

I have seen a layout like you are describing but i can't remember what make it was but am sure it was a european one and was old so may not have had a toilet :o

It had a double at both ends and then bunk beds down the length of the van. Something would have to give to have that layout so i'm guessing that it was old and didn't have a toilet or much of a kitchen either.

I've a hobby with a double bed and then bunk beds and the seating area made into another double but i think the bunks were in the same room as the double bed.

Both 'vans were huge double axle jobs.

Good luck in your search, i think you'll need it unless you can tow a static? lol
