We too are looking to purchase a Kampa Rally awning (perhaps the 330 as the 260 is too small for our needs but the 390 too big? not sure).
Anyway, the reason being we have a Kampa Carnival awning + extension which is HUGE and mega heavy. Absolutely brilliant for a fortnight away but hopeless for a weekend as it just takes too long to put up.
We do have a small porch awning which is fine for shoes & hanging wet stuff, but we would like a larger one which we can fit a table & a couple of chairs in - but still be very lightweight and not canvas, so that we can just stuff if in the bag if it's wet when we come to take it down. It MUST be quick and easy to put up - does this sound like a Kampa Rally?
If anyone has one for sale, please let me know, otherwise does anyone know of places selling last years stock?

Claire, the porch awning we had at Fforest Fields is the Rally 260. Tbh its plenty big enough for a table and we got four chairs in it and a larder unit. Its very easy to put up and take down (20 mins). Do you remember it?
We got ours off Preloved, used once for a bargain £120. The seller let me organise a courier (I can highly recommend Parcelsplease). We had a larger Kampa Fiesta we won on ebay a couple of weeks ago sent to us for less than a tenner and if you go via quidco theres 7% cashback.

They are such good awnings that they are as rare as rocking horse poo to get hold of secondhand!
We have both the 260 and the 390 and they are both very quick and easy to erect, and quite sturdy when up. dont forget to order the extra rear upright poles and a set of storm straps when you buy one, well worth the money as it keeps the awning almost as tight as a conventional one to the sides of the caravan. The only time we would sell ours would be if we gave up the hobby altogether, then they would probably go as part of the caravans equipment.

We have the 260 too - we wanted one small enough to heat during cooler nights as our full size is too big to heat in spring and autumn and so we only use it in warm weather. We are 4 - 2 adults, 2 kids 12 and 10 and as we keep our bed made up cos it is a nightmare to arrange every night - we use our awning to eat and sit. We have quite a big table with 4 quite big chairs (the ones that you can recline) and although it is a little tight, it is perfectly comfortable. If you had a sensible bench table (those fold up ones) it would be perfect - or a table for 2 with 2 chairs. The table goes right up to the front window and there is plenty of room for more stuff between it and the caravan.
We chose the 260 because it doesn't cross any windows and we can use all the poles. I agree - get all the extra poles as they do make a difference to weatherproofing. I will get round to getting the monsoon things that stop water pooling as that is the only problem we have had with this awning - but easy solved.
The awning is quite lightweight, but not insubstantial, and it is straightforward to put up - not much pegging out, the main thing is to keep to the footprint and not go too wide with the poles, I have a 250 x 260 awning carpet which I put down first to make sure that we do it right. You could pack away wet - but would need drying out within a few day I would think - we have left ours out in the van before now just to finish drying off.
The 390 was too big for us - too hard to heat - 330 sounds a really good size and I may have bought that one but only if it wouldn't cross a window as it is impossible to seal effectively over a window. We also bought ours on preloved for £120 - including back poles and awning poles - very pleased withour purchase!
Claire, will have a look and see if I took any pics of the inside. The material is like a polyester tent so would need drying out if took down wet but as its not massive it shouldnt be a problem.
PS. Theres a 260 on Preloved thats been on since before we bought ours (Radstock, nr Bath). Might be worth making them an offer and pay for a courier??

we've got a sunncamp ultima 260 porch awning, I guess the lightweight (in both senses) version. Its cheap and cheerful - ebay bargain but plenty big enough for table, highchair and chairs and the clutter that we seem to collect with a toddler. Its quick to put up and take down and can be done singlehanded or one person and one singlehanded person carrying a toddler is a lot quicker. Its made like a hiking tent so can be stuffed in a bag wet and dried later at home without any danger of going mouldy (but you may get a rust ring from an eyelet if you leave it in the bag for a week waiting for drier weather (oops).
Well, we just purchased a brand new 2012 Kampa Rally Club 260 for £197. It was a show-model (only used for 1 x 3-day show), saving us £75 on the cheapest one I could find on the web. Looking forward to trying it out now!

We have the kampa fiesta, with bedroom extension. We were so pleased with it that we got rid of the full awning and just use this one now. Easy to put up and very sturdy.
We have a Fiesta 350 adapted for our FC and will be trying out very shortly. Material does feel pretty sturdy and its all feels very well made. They seem to make decent porch awnings I guess
