Well I tried my new motor mover today to turn the van around ready for the off on friday. I thought this is not up to much it wouldnt move it very far if at all up a little slab . I tried and tried the mover was slipping on the tires . This is a waste of £600 I thought . Then it dawned on me. Yep it does help if you take the handbrake off. Ho hum.
and then you will find that it does not move at all - because the hand set has been left on and the battery has run down everything else will work - it will switch itself on but will have insufficient power to transmit in the meantime you have gone bananas trying to work out why all the lights are on and still it will not move beware the battery, always have a spare
lol Im pleased i read this we had one fitted on Wednesday. Thats something I would do, I 'll watch out for that at the weekend when we try ours out. Im going to wait till I get on site before I try mine out or it might end up in the garden wall.
Been there done that, fitted my old mover to new van, found each roller going different way, then when I tried rollers slipping, thought what have I done wrong, then took the handbrake off, DOH
Love the bikes on the back touch! I've invested in the new Powrtouch Evolution Auto, most powerful ever apparently but I didn't know they had this demo video out!!
Couldn't get my one to work, eventually used brute force to move caravan. Later when reading the manual discovered that the 13 pin plug had to be plugged into a socket fitted on the A frame to complete circuit.
