The light in my thetford frige has stopped working' i have checked the voltage at the bulb but no power?

Can any one help

Hi and welcome to the forum. The light that you are referring to, is it the red 12 volt switch that illuminates when you are connected to the towcar or is it the the green 240 volt switch you mean?

that's posh i did not think older thetford had a light inside the fridge.check your EHU cable is working correctly. ie.do the 240 volt lights work? is the green light on at the front?

see repairs 634519 changing bulb 12 volt / supplied by the charger when EHU connected,or due to the limited time in use it could be supplied from the battery.

The light in the fridge works on 12v I believe.

Which model fridge is it Dave?

Take a look at the link Michael posted.

If the fridge is otherwise working OK, could be the reed switch, or a broken or disconnected wire.

Sorry regarding my first reply as you did say IN your fridge. I didn't think there was a light in a Thetford fridge actually that's why I thought you meant the red or green on the outside. I've got the old type Electrolux in my caravan so your posh in comparison. Hope you get it sorted anyway.
