Im pretty sure alloy nuts can be used on a steel spare wheel just like a car that has steel spare wheel but there are only to be used for a short time, steel nuts cannot be used on alloys as the holes on alloys are conical seated to prevent them from working loose when travelling.

But I am sure some one will be along to confirm tho.

It should be in your handbook but Swift always say that the wheel nuts supplied with their alloy wheels are fine to be used with the steel spare.

Swift say that the nuts are ok to use only the torque settings are different but if you want to check with swift go to swift-talk.co.uk as there is alot of info on there and swift themselves monitor the forum and you will be surprised how often a member of the swift group answers posts,a very good free site for swift group owners

Thought they'd be more swift than that!

We are at the point of no return in changing from Coachman to Swift.  From past experience in helping others, I am not too thrilled with their  240 volt connectors I have come across in their circuitry. Hollow, pressed metal pins that can lose firm contact.  If nothing has changed and these give me trouble, I shall swap them for decent fittings.

Bertie.
