we are on a season long pitch but the hard standing isnt so hard i.e fairly recently laid its loose rubble / shale type. When i pegged last year we ended up using wooden, pointed stakes (cheaper and fairly effective, i thought) cut with a groove to hold the loop on the awning skirt. i have some hard standing pegs but i think these are for the concrete or v.hard standing....i'm down there next weekend so ground may be firmer this year after a year of 'settling' so may gives the wooden stakes another go..... but just wondering if there are any pegs / stakes specifically designed for this type of set up were the ground is shale and seemingly not bedded in properly yet. thanks
wow, these look great, ive tried a combi of masssive steel hooks planted at the side of a wooden stake , great until they work loose then you are left with one massive hole to fill next time!! i guess the key is to check a bit more regularly which ones are about to work loose.... thanks again Michael..
Try up here at Meathop Fell,,you need a pneumatic drill to get the pegs in!!!!!
