I am going to view this van this afternoon...

From the pictures it looks HUGE!

From what I can gather the published tow weights for the van are:


Overall Length = 7.5meters
Internal Length = 5.9 meters
Awning = 933
MIRO = 1080 Kg
MTPLM = 1460

I can't understand how the MIRO can only be 1080kg for such a large twin axle caravan?

My last van was a 2003 Lunar Zenith 6. It was alot newer (you would assume vans would get lighter as technology develops) than the Delta I am going to see, it was a single axle and shorter yet its MIRO was only 55Kg lighter than the twin axle Delta.

How can this be?

Absolutely gutted. Drove a long way to go and see the van, but when I arrived the seller told me that he had just sold the van to someone else despite him knowing I was on route to see it.
