I am sterilising the water system on the caravan this weekend, in the past I have left the water filter attached to the pipe in the aquaroll ( I use Puriclean) thinking in case there were any undissolved crystals not wanting to suck them through into the pipework.
After the puriclean has done its job, I drain and flush through with fresh water and then fit a new water filter.
However I am now wondering if drawing the water with Puriclean through the filter into the system is best, could it be filtering some of the sterlisation properties out of the treated water?
Whem opening the taps and drawing the Puriclean water through, I can still smell it coming through the pipework, but dont know if I am reducing the effect?
Does anyone unscrew their filter in the aquaroll and pump it through without the filter on?
Thanks
