A point well worth taking on-board when you get the information you need to start.
The radio is very likely to need two positive feeds.
A maintained one to retain all your preferences and the tuning data.
And a switched one, here in the caravan, replicating the cars ignition switch
Ensure that the power in your caravan to the radio is fitted with that switch in the lead intended to come from the cars ignition switch. If you don't, my experience is it will very quickly drain your battery even though on the radio it is 'switched off'. And mine originally was so called professionally installed!

It isn't that simple.
The wiring will often depend on what radio it is.
Simply you connect the positive feed/feeds for the radio to the positive on the battery, via a fuse, and the negative/earth from the radio to the battery negative. Speakers would be as a car.
However take into account that if there is no battery in the van the radio will loose it's memory, as JTQU has already said.
Are you hoping for drawings related to your caravan? The install will vary between all vans and personal preferences.
If your comfortable enough to fit the device, you should be ok with routing your wiring to provide power back from somewhere (ideally back off the battery/distribution board plus a switched feed as mentioned by JTQU), but first off you need to decide exactly where's best placed in the van to fit it as there maybe a suitable power source close to it.
This link won't give you any van specific data, but might just help with your planning of the install.

I just fitted a radio/cd/bluetooth to my 15/5 piper caravan I put it next to the glass cabinet at the front of the van which means it should be above the battery box ,this means will be easier to connect to a power supply, the power leads from the radio may be red .yellow and white, plus black ground E. now I connected all thepower leads to one redlead to the power supply and black to earth via a fuse. for the ariel I went for a rubber one from maplin for a few pound ,I cut a access hole through the inner wall at the front in the middle of the head shelf and with a sharp pointpushed a hole through the outer skin then offer up the ariel bolt through the hole put the cable on the bolt followed by the washer and nut feed the cable to the radio. as for the speakers you do not have to use all the speakers i.e.4 just use2 and tape up the ones not needed if you can fit a switch in line with your power supply you should not need to reprograme the radio best of luck
