I was in SW for 15 years and after initial success, ended up 11 stones overweight. Not because of practising the diet, but having got used to that diet, when I returned to normal eating, I carried on thinking that certain foods were doing me good when in fact the oposite was true.
I'm now with another club and coming down again.
However, going away camping or caravanning is a holiday and therefore a danger time for anyone on a food/eating regime, no matter which one it is. Holidays and enjoyment go hand in hand and that usually includes foods both solid and liquid.
I am okay because there is just the two of us and if we don't take the "nuaghty" foods then we are not tempted to eat the things we shouldn't, but if my partner was not of similar mind or we had kids with us and all their tempting treats, I doubt if an eating regime would be quite so simple to follow.
So well done all you Mums and Dads who can go away for a trip and still come back a lesser person.
