I am so jealous!

I am looking for an excuse to get the van out - Easter is out as I am on call but all being well - I hope we can get the tail end weekend of easter if we don't have friends down.

From such early warm temperatures in the year and then to sudden wintry cold weather it makes me wonder how hibernating animals cope with this sudden change. Nature usually wakes them out of hibernation when the temperature starts to rise but it wouldn't surprise me if many haven't survived at all this year.

We are out in ours for the first time this year this weekend, part of me wants to cancel it, but the kids are so looking forward to it.

I think I will just have to man up, pack the blankets and get the heating on.

Never had 3 rainy days in the van with two kids before :(

Too true,

my brother went to scarborough last week - sunshine & cloudless skies.

We've just returned from filey - wall to wall rain, gail force winds and a porch awning with no poles!

After a sleepless night last night (thinking the van would blow over) woke up to our pitch 4" deep in water

A long trip home - with the m62 closed due to snow

sat at home, in the warm, looking forwards to looe in august!!

Well survived the night but a number of awnings on site didn't, feel sorry for all who lost theirs.
