well that was a quick week, but back to work tomorrow.it was an interesting week with the weather etc.
however we have noticed that our van is becoming somewhat cramped now with the 4 kids and perhaps now is the time to think about upgrading.and as luck would have it a fellow camper was on site wth a 6 berth van which was for sale.
we would obviously have to sell ours first before buying but not sure of its value.is there anywhere onlne that does caravan valuations?

- googling the van and you may find some for sale (for old adverts of vans now sold use the 'cached' option instead of the normal link through the header)
- Ebay (again look at completed ads as well as live ones)
Can I ask what model of the Countryside you have and what the layout is? We saw one recently at a local dealers (we're also in Fife) but it looked like it had been in a bad accident and not well repaired - otherwise it looked like a solid van.
Also, being nosy, what is the van you are hoping to upgrade to?

Thanks for that - it's a double dinette layout yes? I've found some info on two models of the 500 - 500/5 (5 berth) and 500-EB (4 berth) - but I think they've mixed up the layout pictures so just wanting to check. Can't see how they get 5 berths with a full width end washroom hence my confusion!
The reason I ask is the double dinette layout is the one we're looking for just now. So if you decide you are wanting to sell, please feel free to get in touch through here.
Also, I've seen a 2005 avante 556 advertised that's been owned by the current owners for the last 4 years and the owners live in/near Montrose. It's being sold on Ebay as a classified ad for £7k and has a motor mover. So if you're being offered one two years newer for the same price, it may be a good deal (even without the mover on the newer van).
ok will do thanks for that.using caravan price guide the figure given is actually just slightly above what i was thinking anyway so wasnt a bad estimate by myself if i may say so lol
