I was wondering if somebody could tell me the best route to Malton with a caravan. We are travelling from Teesside. We have done the journey before but went down to York and travelled north from there, this took us two hours, is there a shorter, quicker route?
I am with Big Al on the route. You may find Blue Bank out of Sleights a bit of a challenge at one in four. Fabulous views from the top over the moor to Whitby Abbey but better without a van on the back. Depends what ratio you are pulling at I suppose

Guisborough , Whitby , Sleights , Pickering , Malton . Bit of a climb from Whitby end up past The Hole Of Horcum but a lovely run otherwise .
I think he's too busy trying to justify not washing his hands after visiting the loo (if you have been following another thread)
