I had my caravan advertised for sale but not any more.
I had the mobile caravan service engineer look at it today and he couldn't fault it. Nothing needed doing apart from the normal greasing jobs and a duff connection in the rear lights.
The main thing was there is zero damp anywhere so I have decided I would be mad to sell it.
I can't go back to tents and to get another one as good as this one at a later date would end up costing more than the £950 I paid for this one.
After all, what's a newer caravan going to do that this one can't? If it's sound and fully useable like you say then yes, keep it and save going into debt for a newer one.

Can I be cheeky and ask how much it costs for a Caravan service? In all honesty we will probably never tow it as it's on our favorite site, but would be interested to get some feedback on it's condition.

Couldn't tow it anyway with a Matiz 800cc LOL
£120 to £ 200 for a full service.

well done good result.
------------- the only silly question is the one you do not ask.
Our old two berth van was fairly basic, our newer one has loads more room, blown air heating, side dinette, a full size cooker, large shower room with a full size shower and a proper basin. It's all very nice but when we think about it, we don't enjoy ourselves any more than we used to. Crankyhorse you may well have made the right decision and saved yourself a few bob in the process.
I wish ours had no damp, but the door is leaking somewhere, as the wood upright next to the door is damp the wall below the door is spongy, but the floor feels solid? or its residule moisture from deep in the carpet that its sucked up as I dried the wood out when we was last away about 2 weeks ago. I thought it was the sealent around the door, so re went over it.
Michael if your caravan stays on site have a habitation service only you will find it willbe cheaper than a full service as the chassis and running gear etc is not covered
