I know this question has been asked in many different ways, but I can't seem to find a generic answer that might help... so here goes..

We've just bought our first van (after being tenters for years) and I want to know how to find out which hitch lock / wheel clamp I should buy.

The van is a 2006 Sprite Alpine 4 but it doesn't have the Al-ko stabiliser..by the way.

I've seen loads of hitch locks but I'm not sure how to tell if they'll fit as they don't seem to make specific models.. will any one do?

We pick up the van in a couple of weeks so have yet to sort out insurance and am not sure whether they'll specifiy which one, but thought I'd ask the general question.

 We have bulldog mini for sale( see ads .)     £25 with 2 keys ans all instructions . I think they now cost £ 70- 80 It's the box type.

 Not sure if that's any good or where you live . We used it for our old caravan which had the normal trailer type hitch . Cheers Siobhan
