Hi all just a update on peak outdoors, to date they have had the awning and my recorded letter for over a week yet still no reply. Have googled this company and this sort of absolute abysmal customer service goes all the way back to 2010. I purchased mine from amazon so I thought ,but came from peak outdoors, on my credit card bill it states Amazon but they are saying I purchased it from a third party. I have contacted Amazon stating that in my opinion they are partly to blame and don't they vet these company's first before letting them sell faulty goods and really bad customer service, there reply was nothing to do with them. So I tried and posted a review of this company and the awning I bought, surprise surprise Amazon removed it saying someone else had reviewed it, I contacted them again to complain and I told them they are as bad as peak outdoors , I also informed them that I will be taking this company to court and reporting both of them to BBC Watchdog, there reply was that peak outdoors had done nothing wrong and that it was Amazons policy not to give refunds and they then told me that they had put a £5 give voucher on my account as a good will gesture for all of my problems. I replied back to them stating that they are breaking the law and could stick there voucher as I will never purchase again from them. I informed them that this company have my awning £180 of my money and £20 of my money which cost me to return the awning so in total£200 and I have nothing but a load of stress. As yet no reply. So please be warned do not buy from either of these company's as they are fine till something goes wrong and then they do not want to know. I feel conned and robbed.
