Recently purchased a second hand Sunncamp awning but it didn't come with any awning pegs/ties to hold the sides down.. I used some metal tent pegs but they weren't really up to the job and when it was windy the just come out. Can you suggest the best things to use, looked on various site and confused between Hammer in pegs, screw in ones and v pegs... The ladders, rubbers or Bungee elastic with balls....
hard standing, or stony ground you need rock pegs, screw in or hammer in, the choice is yours.
"normal" grass, I use either the sup[plied plastic pegs, or some of the bent metal tent pegs.
on softer grass, the V pegs.
biggest thing to remember is to angle the begs about 45degrees AWAY from the awning, then the pull is pulling sideways on the peg, so will offer the greatest resistance.
Id go for the ladders for the most part, they give the best amount of adustment for uneven ground
