A piece of figure of 8 plastic will help reduce sagging but unless you rig up some way of tensioning each end of the skirt it is always going to sag slightly. I have seen 'vans with hooks bonded to the inside of the wheel arch to which people fit shock cord to hold up the awning skirt but I would be a bit nervous of damaging the plastic wheel arch.

We've got some silver sticky tape to keep ours against the wheel, I've thought about getting a proper porthole punched through it then thread a ribbon through and through a "spoke" on the wheel but haven't checked whether i can get my fingers round it yet.
I always stand our little table in front of it so it's camouflaged too.
Wheel arch cover is what you want. It helps to hold up that piece of the skirt and cover over the wheel that the skirt does not cover. Holds on to the caravan with a couple of rubber suckers.

I had the same problems originally with the bottom skirt sagging and asked on here what was used but didn't know exactly what the figure of 8 channel was till I did a search on the net which is shown in the first link. However, what you do is cut the figure of 8 channel to the size of the remaining gap across the wheel arch between the two rails each side of the arch then feed the bottom skirt through the one skirt rail, through the figure of 8 channel then through the other remaining skirt channel. What this does is stiffens up the centre part that once sagged. The top wheel arch skirt should have some press studs on so what I did was made some wooden 'L' shaped lugs with holes drilled in each one to accommodate a plastic sucker and then painted them with white emulsion to help not only protect them from damp but also blend in with the caravan side to make it look a neat job. I then screwed a press stud to each to fix the top skirt to. The top skirt is then fixed by the suckers on the caravan (which are not permanent fixings of course) and then cut to the correct length to meet the bottom skirt. I then bought some skirt piping shown in the bottom link and glued it to the top skirt. This then slides through the figure of 8 channel which covers all the draughts and produces a neat tidy job.
You can buy the wheel arch covers complete with the figure of 8 plastic at the right length.

I already had a top skirt Phil with new the awning so I just cut it down to size plus the problem with my caravan is that the caravan sides are not smooth all the way up. About 3 inches above the wheel arch the design changes to like a corrugated effect so the wooden made lugs have to be pulled across at 90 degrees for the suckers to fix on the smooth part. You just have to do what suits your own caravan really to achieve the results required.
Yep Tango, when you get to a certain age getting your skirt straight is one of life's major problems

How about putting a piece of the plastic that you put electric wire in ,it has a sticky back ,I am going to stick it to the back of the skirt to keep it rigid ,not stick it to the van
I bought the figure of 8 plastic track too but didn't want to drill my outer skin for poppers so I use little white Velcro pads on the wheel arch and skirt.
We have a piece of plywood over the wheel too. We screwed two small screws through the white webbed part of the skirt at the top and screwed through the wood it looks so much tidier and doesn't sag at all now
