Hi we have took the plunge and bought a new sprite lite 2,we pick it up next week.It is our first caravan, has we have camped now for a few years. We knew it was for us as soon as we saw it.I was wondering if they is anymore Sprite Lite owners out they.It is light weight so we get to keep our car,We are so excited and suppose a bit nervous too about picking it up,but i know were going to love it.The bonus is we have a big drive so we can store it at home.Im already thinking of names for her,I know it might sound a bit sad,but im sure theys a few of you out they who has a name for you caravan.Happy Caravaning
Good luck with you new van. We have got a Sprite lite 5 on order we have never seen one but they seem a good basic van that meets all our needs. except I dont think that there is an awning light but when it arrives at our dealers I will get them to fit one.

I've not seen one but googled it, they look really nice, it's about time they did this with vans,we don't all want singing and dancing and heavy vans, I like it.
Congrats to you both have fun x

The road can be tough and rough, but what you put in you get back 10 x more.
Thanks for the replies. We picked her up yesterday,it was my husbands first time towing a caravan,he was a bit anxious but did really well.Shes in storage till saturday morning,Then we will be storing her on our drive. We are so excited to try her out,we have booked a local site 5 miles away for next weekend. The sprit lite was for us having moved up from camping,we didnt want all bells and whistles, just a bit more comfort.Kev you will have to let us know how you get on with yours.lainM the price was very appealing to us,and also because its lite.I have named her Joy, oh is she going to be loved and cared for.Sorry might sound sad but eh who cares not me.xx

We call ours Daisy. Not my choice. I`d have called her Halle (didn`t tell `er that)!
You do right booking a local site for your first trip. We did similar. You`ll soon get used to the rigmarole etc, the most dificult thing is - putting it back in your own drive! Have fun,

I hope that you enjoy next weekend, we will not be getting our van until the end of June because our part x Bailey has got to go in for some warranty work (cracked rear panel). I will let you know when we get it. Do they come with an awning light?

Shes home all save and sound,we have been busy wiping her round, putting things in place, its like setting a new home up.All the familys been round and love her too.Looking forward to getting her out next weekend.x
