I have a seasonal pitch this year for the second year and I am after a new awning, my present one (Dorema) has served me well for the last 7 years but the seasonal pitch seems to be taking its toll on it as it has now started to fade and it doesn't look that green any more !
It is a Dorema Cardinal (steel poles) made from acrylic but I think I would like to go for a full polyester type this time as it is supposed to be more fade resistant and easier to clean.
Top of my list at the moment is a Isabella Ventura Pacific 250 with steel poles coming in at around £995.
It would cost around £100 for the fibreglass poles but with it being up from April-October I thought steel would be the best option.
Now just looking around I can find a Isabella Capri Lux with the carbon fibre for £1100 from Robinsons but it is made of Isacryl.
What do you guys recommend I do ?
Does anyone have either of these awnings as a seasonal ?
The one I would go for would be in Blue if that makes any difference.
Much appreciate any input.
Help !!

Have you looked at ventura? Isabella spin off had ours for 3 years seasonal no problems at all our size was 300 cheaper than Isabella but there are a few minor differences

Yes it is the top of my list at the moment, it now comes under the Isabella wing.
I was looking at the Ventura Pacific.

Isabella make very good all polyester awnings and another one to look out for is Inaca like this one.
what makes this all polyester one good for seasonal pitches is the zlp down/ roll up window covers

Jim.
Yes I totally agree ! Buy British and all that, but in all the years of caravaning and looking around at awnings on site I have never seen a good looking erected NR awning.
They always seem to sag from somewhere or flap and most of them have wrinkled panels as if they are cut wrong.
Don't get me wrong it is all about putting them up right but surely not all of them are put up wrong ?
You have just got to look on ebay to see what I meen !!
I was looking at 4season one.
Can anyone argue in there defense ??

Up until this year I've been using a Dorema Montana on a seasonal pitch and I too found it had faded and so for this year I decided we needed a change. After a lot of deliberation and trips to our local caravan dealerships, I settled on the Isabella Ventura Pacific 250 all season, with the steel poles and I have to admit it's an excellent awning, easy to erect, isabella quality and it looks the part and I knew once it was up, I'd made the right choice. The only thing I would advise anyone intending to leave it up all season is to buy steel pegs and the Isabella storm straps. I purchased 5 storm straps and installed them inside the awning on all 5 supports and in the recent strong southerly winds (full onto the awning) in Dorset, the awning stood up to it, nothing loosened and all the pegs stayed in (not like 3 others). Hope this helps and I'm sure if you buy one, you will not be disapointed.
