later this years we should have the funds to get another caravan. we know what layout we want size and how much we can spend but as were not up on modles could do with suggetions. we have been out looking today and they all seam end bathroom which for us is a waist of space as we use site showers and i only use the van loo suggetsions for modles would be great or if you have a van that fits the bill how do you like it. tow weight wont be a realy problem as hubbys planing on getting a VW transports to stick my scooter and the dogs in at the same time
it needs to have seating at both ends so i have somewere to sit at night when i cannot sleep when hubbys in bed at the other end so just a smale table and single seats at the back that i can put a curtain across to have a light on
size about 14 foot + towbar would not want to go any bigger as it would block the drive.
price well it wont seam a lot to most of you but were looking at not realy any more than £5000
£5000 is a lot to me, that will get you a really nice van, you might struggle with getting one that small, but there are lots of vans that have that layout , perhaps look on caravan finder to give you an idea of layouts and length ect.

i thought a 14ft 3 or 4 berth might be difficult til my sister came home with her caravan and its a 4 berth 10ft long lol. we thought we had seen that layout quite a bit but out this afternoon everything seamed to be end bathroom in our price range for some reson
We've had a couple of vans in the layout you mention, 4 and 5 berths. Both were over 14 feet so not much help sorry! We've always gone for the long seats at the front which adds to the length, I suppose for a double diner within 14 feet the front seating area might be shorter? Happy hunting.

just try looking at dealers websites it sometimes gives you the length of vans and weights ect then at least you know what sort of van you could be after. Not saying you have to buy from a dealer its just so you can get some ideas let us know what you decide on good luck
We recently exchanged our Adria Forma which would have been ok for your needs. I loved that van but we wanted something a little bigger. We part exchanged it with a dealer who have obviously sold it on as it is now on ebay with another dealer!
We kept the front area made up (we actually had a double mattress on the cushions), there is a sliding door which you could pull across when your husband is sleeping.
