Have placed our ad on the ukcampsites caravans for sale page. ABI Dalesman 520ET and feel very sad not used it since last August and wont get used again this year. Should we just leave it on our drive for 18 months or let another have use of this lovely van?
Totally agree, would never find one as good for the price but unfortunately hubby cant get the time off to have weekends away and we have two holidays home and abroad booked this year for special birthdays
------------- 2011:
Woodhall Country Park
Wild Rose
Kippford
Holgates
and some
Just a quick word my mum and dad sold there van approx 1 year ago because they though they were too old (late 60's and early 70's) it was a big 6 berth and they took the grand kids every summer for two week, in the van, sadly not last year though.
Happily last weekend the urge got the better of them and a spur of the moment purchase got them a smaller 2 berth van with all the trimming etc. Mum and Dad both now have a happy glow about them, with the new to them van sitting on the drive in the back garden.
Suggest if you can keep it and let other family members use it if possible, keep it maintained and it will look after you when circumstances mean you can use it more often.
My hubby has a 'special' birthday this year and guess where he's spending his birthday - in the caravan! Wouldn't dream of spending it anywhere else! The ideal - would be going to France for his birthday, which we'd hoped to do. With the caravan of course! But lack of funds put an end to that!

good luck Chris
Hi, Agree there, keep van a little longer, let family use it until you get the time off to go on trips, and if you feel the same after a period of time then consider selling.
Good luck in whatever you decide.
