I'm loking at getting a second hand porch awning for my avondale mayfly, its 220 high so its one of the smaller in height, anyone have any suggestions please. I have seen a sunncamp but it says to fit 235 to 250, would this be way too big our could it fit. New to caravans so not really much idea
Have look around for an Isabella combi 680, there are lots about on eBay and they will fit no matter hat the height.

For a licence dated 1997 or later you must add together the plated max weight of the caravan and trailer, if the total is 3500 or less you can tow it. You may even tow a caravan with a MAM greater than the cars unladen mass the restriction was removed in 2013

Easy solution which we use with Elsie Elddis is to put her up on a pair of levelling ramps. Hey presto, the awning height is increased, awning fits nice and tight.
Been looking about and most of them start at 235 cm anyone else got this problem with a smaller van .
Don't want to buy one and it be too big that's all
We have an Avondale and have an NR porch awning. They are made in different heights. If you google NR awnings you can find the different models and heights. Without checking, I think ours is 220cm.

£20 problem solved, you know it makes sense. Its the quickest and cheapest solution.
Ooh thanks anniemac, but I really wanted one that was enclosed so we could leave things inside.......great canopy though
I know people say make it higher with the levelling blocks but were not convinced it would make that much difference, anyone else tried this
