We keep our lightweight awnings in the large woven plastic chequed laundry bags you can get from most seaside pound shops, we have got 2 of the XXXL size, one red and one blue so that we know which awning is in each bag easily, and in winter they live in the spare room, and in summer there either in the Garage spread out to dry if needed, or out in the caravan ready to go for next time.
The poles always live in the caravan, and being as we have two sizes of the same make and model Kampa, our poles are generic to both awnings, so we only carry one set of rear uprights, and four leg and roof sets, its only the internal front stretchers and internal roof bars that differ between the sizes.
