I think if you price it to include a Cross Actuating Kit, which comes as standard on most other Movers, it will not work out quite as cheap as you think.

The only question I would want to confirm is does the 5yrs parts and labour include them coming to wherever you are in the UK to do the repair? If it does then its not a bad price but if it doesn't then I would look at a Powrtouch mover which does. Also is the warranty transferable if you decide to sell the van? This might be a useful if you don't think you will keep the van & mover for 5 yrs?
I installed the Riversway mover on my previous van. It deffinitely comes with the cross actuation kit and was fairly straight forward to install as long as you have reasonable DIY skills.
I thought the quality was good, it worked equally as well as the mover on my current van (Powrtouch) and when I contacted Riversway regarding the warranty they said the 5 years was covered for DIY install. Not sure if it was a back-to-base as opposed to in-situ type warranty though, probably the former.
I phoned Powrtouch and asked them if they had any reconditioned units. They sold me one for £330. It was about 3 years ago so they may not do it anymore but worth a try.
Personally I'd rather have a brand new Easi-Move with a 5 year warranty for £170 extra.
Also known as the Titan, they're actually made by the Royal Leisure group who are a very well known and reputable company. They sell for up to £700 on some sites.

I rang them up the other week to ask if they had any recon units and they said they don't sell them any more.

Yes, we had one fitted to our van just over a year ago & have been very pleased. We did have a problem with it at one time & the engineer came out to site to repair it. It moves our van well ( loaded up to its 1368kg MTPLM), although would add that it's our first van & mover, so can't compare with other makes.
