Also you have to make sure that whoever fits them has the correct information regards the torque wrench settings for caravan /trailer wheels, and doesnt use the standard car tyre kit installed in most tyre bays.
We have recently changed our caravan tyres and enquired first at our local Kwikfit, only to be told that they dont fit them due to the reasons mentioned above.
In the end we got them replaced at our local lunar dealers approved workshop during the annual service, and paid around £55 each for them including balance and fitting,
Since changing them we appear to be getting slightly more mpg whilst towing than we did with the old tyres, despite them being like for like replacements, and the tyre pressures being checked regularly and well maintained on the last lot, so well worth the change in the end.
