Going to a basic site with no hook up from Friday to Tuesday. Have a Solar Panel but first time for 5 days. My wife has a HTC phone and needs charging daily she likes her soaps as well so we will use a fair amount of battery power. I am a little apprehensive, but hey we are on hollybobs (as said by my wife).

I'm sure you'll be OK for 5 days with a solar panel, but if you're nervous, why not check whether the site has battery charging facilities? Many sites will charge your battery for you while you're out for the day.

When we went camping without any power we used to use something like this. The one we have recharges your phone approx 5 times, so it may be of some use to you.
Every little helps!

we just use the car charger and the 12v plug plugged into the van's 12v system, works very well for us and doesn't really impact on the amount used on the battery, we also use a 60w solar panel. I find this way better than the solar charger I bought the previous year. My phone is also a HTC
